Project Description

BACKGROUND

As time progresses, the challenges faced by humanity will become more complex and diverse By far, the most obvious and dangerous challenge faced by not just one community, not just (ne rich, not just the poor, but all of humanity across the globe is the challenge of global warming and environmental issues Threats from environmental problems and global warming are already occurring today in various forms such as rising average temperatures, rising sea levels, extinctions, droughts, and various problems that will only get worse.
One proof of the urgency of this problem is the failure of the Paris agreement to hold the average rate of increase in global warming at 1,5 degrees Celsius, which shows that there has been no serious and structured handling of this issue The IPCC in 2021 stated that scientists found the potential for the worst case scenario of global warming where the earth’s temperature increase could reach up to 4,4 degrees C by 2100.
This issue is important because it has a very real and threatening impact on human life. If not addressed properly, this issue will lead to various other issues. At some point part of the earth’s surface will be uninhabitable, part will sink underwater, and the rest will experience extreme heat waves, rain, and storms that we may never have encountered today.

SOLUTION

Jelly Fish Island is a solution to the challenges of the future, becoming a Carbon Capture and Storage and Waste Recycle center that applies technological innovations not only in architecture but also in the environment. Not only that the building is designed to simultaneously increase public awareness and participation in this sustainable movement. Imagine if we can realise a global solution in a structured way that can simultaneously sequester carbon, process waste into energy, raise awareness in the community, and foster hope in the community about sustainable living.
