Sanggar Anak Harapan is learning and leaving space for Tanah Merah marjinal which located on North Jakarta. Indonesia and initiated by Leni Desinah and friends aim to give a good education for Tanah Merah society. The location with prone of crime which have big potential to give bad impact for every children future who lived on it, such as : drugs consumption, pregnant out of marriage, early marriage, verbally & physically violence, and children trafficking. Tanah Merah actually can’t be separated from Leni Desinah family background who lived there before and there’s make her decided to out from her house and become marjinal. then she decided to live on Sanggar Anak Akar, East Jakarta during 5 years. From there she initiated want to give a same experience for Tanah Merah marjinal to minimize a bad violence in the future through experiential learning and mostly learn about art such as : music, drawing, art performance, dance, etc.
